Originally from Hull I moved to London in 1993, finally settling in Hackney in 1998. I started making films in 2002 while working as a newspaper Art Director and wrote and directed several award winning shorts. Shooting all my own films, and a few for other directors too, inspired a greater interest in photography generally and eventually that became as much of a part of my life as the films. I now work in film (short and feature), documentary, fashion, music and travel in both still and moving image. When I'm not doing that I can be seen out running on Hackney Marshes (with a camera of course).
